Code for All_

    One day after Christmas I went to attend my best gift, I was able to enter Academia de Código, living one of my dreams and being lucky/skilled enough to be one of the winners of the contest to be accept as an "alumni". After going there for the workshop I was already in love by it's awesome ambient, is very informal and familiar at the same time, the "Master" Rui Ferrão speaks so clearly that it was impossible to miss any content, and rare the moment that I needed to raise my hand to ask questions, Sérgio was another teacher that really inspired me because he went from student of the last course to teacher, and people from Academia like Catarina (Bootcamp Momma) kept telling us how he had some difficulties but as he is such an hard worker, he was able to push himself to the top and of course Antoninho, that spared us the needed time after hours (Antoninho's School) to pull up everyone that was feeling behind, he was also a previous course attendant.

    It's a big family. The best place to learn how to become a developer. The syllabus teaches everything we need. I just can't find words to describe the experience. Yes it's hard to keep up with the fast paced learning environment but that's why they look for people that are able to push themselves harder and harder. You learn everything from computer science history, to design patterns, to serious and practical coding. I remember that in the final weeks many companies come see us in the classes and talk with us, some of the people are CEO's others are recruiters, others were developers to properly check the syllabus and what we were learning, and they all said "This is what you will be doing for real, don't be afraid to become a professional in this area, because you are being given the right tools.".

    For 14 weeks I think it's an awesome experience and it's more than enough for the students to become their own teachers, as we were told (just like in University), they teach us how to learn and from that we can proceed our own adventure, but of course whenever we need we know we can contact our family and they will surely help us. It's just awesome, from the curriculum to the job support where the people working there are awesome as well.

    I went from a guy that didn't even have finished high school, nor went to the University (I hate them) to become a professional full-stack web developer and I am now working on a startup, and already had other jobs in the way. I had some minor experience building websites specially with WordPress and I was at the time learning to become a Full-Stack Web Developer through online courses, but gladly I got in Academia, you need a lot of self-discipline to go learn always by yourself and I was missing having a class full of mates learning and helping each others. The syllabus is really complete and I think It's completely worth the money, specially as you are finished after 14 weeks, I am really proud, happy and feeling privileged.

 recently completed a 14-week programming course at Your Review Code for All and had a very positive experience. The course was well-structured, covering both fundamental and advanced topics. The instructors were knowledgeable and always available to help.The emphasis on practical projects was a major highlight, allowing me to apply what I learned in real-world scenarios. The collaborative learning environment and high-quality resources also contributed to my growth.Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start or advance their programming career.

CodeForAll has been an exceptional platform for diving into the world of coding. The courses are structured thoughtfully, building a solid foundation before venturing into advanced topics. Instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge, making even the most complex concepts understandable. The practical projects provided invaluable hands-on experience. While the learning curve can be steep at times, the support network within the community is incredibly helpful. CodeForAll has equipped me with the skills and confidence to pursue further coding endeavors.

I did the bootcamp (it doesn't matter if it's in Porto or Lisbon) but the end result: learn and get a job - that's the point when you spend so much money. The training itself was what was expected for a bootcamp, a lot of material in a short time. Okay, that was as expected. 
The school's conditions are poor for what you pay. The school has no reputation in companies, there is no final bonus for paying so much money for a school that is supposedly so special. THERE IS NO DEMAND FOR BOOTCAMP STUDENTS NOW, the market for this demand, for programmers, is dead. Companies want students coming from Universities, there is no longer as much demand to accept bootcamp students. We paid seven thousand euros (€7000.00) and we are not guaranteed an internship and the support given to us after the course is more inspirational than factual. 
Out of 30 people in the class, none are employed. Colleagues are going back to their old jobs, getting new ones... and I'm not talking about the worst in the class, but rather the best, who already had some experience. There are no jobs for alumni of this bootcamp. Choose another program that at least guarantees an internship. This bootcamp no longer makes sense, there is no demand in companies for its students. 
Talk to students who recently finished the bootcamp on Linkdin, or simply search and see how many of them are working. These are facts, do this research and don’t fall down this rabbit hole.

 We were deceived from the beginning to the end. We weren't prepared to take the CompTIA Security+ exam, they don't even give us a completion certificate, there's no support to find employment, nothing. I would give 100€ for the course, maximum. It was the worst 7000€ spent in my life. We tried to talk to them about the certificate, which is asking for the minimum, and they simply don't respond, or when they do, it's to say they're "on top of it". Does it really take 4 months to create a simple certificate? It's really not worth it. I spent 7000€ just to now have to study everything on my own and still can't find a job. 

This programming bootcamp exceeded my expectations in every way. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering both fundamentals and advanced topics. The instructors are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in students' success. The hands-on projects provided valuable practical experience, and the collaborative environment fostered teamwork and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the career support services helped me land a job shortly after completing the program. I highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking to jumpstart their career in programming.

It's a worthwhile experience, no doubt about it. But it's mentally, physically and emotionally exhausting. When they say that at Code for All_ you'll live to eat, sleep and study... take it seriously. It's an extremely demanding course that will require you until the very last day. I recommend it mainly for those who want to pursue a career in Backend and want to learn Java. If you want to focus more on Frontend, my advice is: look for another course. The teachers are great, they're really committed to helping you throughout the process. Ideal for those who want a quick career change. Come prepared to live for it!
