Product Gym (PG) by Elevate is an online technical skills platform offering a 12-week product management (PM) career coaching program and a 15-week QA (SDET) skills training program. PG members get access to fully remote courses, which offer flexible start times, a comprehensive curriculum, and career support to help members secure their target Product or QA job. Both tracks can be taken flexibly, at the same or different times. On average, PG members spend 7 – 10 hours per week on both tracks combined. Once joined, members have access to all of PG's classes, community resources, and support for life.
Product Gym by Elevate’s QA program is suitable for people of all experience levels. To enroll, book a discovery call with the admissions team. The Product Management program is more selective and accepts only about 10% of applicants. Those interested in the Product Management program should be interested in breaking into PM or securing a better PM role; have a strong work ethic and ability to problem-solve; be able to follow advice from coaches; and be excited to be part of the PG community.
Product Gym by Elevate’s Job Placement Assistance Program for the QA program is provided through PG partners and lasts for about 4 months. In this program, members will receive a weekly live session breakdown, with the added benefit of having all sessions recorded, allowing participants to learn at their own pace. PG’s Product Management program includes placement — members of the program can secure 3-5 offers in as soon as 45 days.
Payment plans are available to Product Gym by Elevate members.
Prior to enrolling with Product Gym, I was working as an Associate at a well-known investment company for 5 years. I decided it was time for a career change since the work I was doing wasn’t giving me any more satisfaction. Soon after, I came across an article about Product Management, and started to do more research on the field. The Product Manager role started to peak my interest and I decided to look into Product Management bootcamps.

I scheduled a consultation with Product Gym and spoke their co-founder, Rich. I was skeptical at first, thinking that it was just a typical sales pitch. However, Rich threw some interesting statistics at me about landing Product Manager positions, and connected me with a couple of previous students that had the same background as me.
After speaking with Product Gym’s alumni, I decided to take the risk and enroll. The work was not easy! There was a lot of reading I had to do, but ultimately, I had to apply and interview with as many companies as possible. Rich, Cody, and their team was there every step of the way, but I had to hold myself accountable to keep applying.
After more than 50 interviews, I finally managed to land an offer with a sizable increase to my income! Thank you to the Product Gym team for this successful (not smooth) transition to Product Management!
I had taken other PM courses, but none compare to Product Gym. Instead of just teaching their students about Product Management, they actually help them land jobs. I didn’t see any results after taking other courses so I was hesitant at first, but I’m so glad I did it. Before Product Gym, I had been applying to PM roles for months and not hearing anything back, or only ever getting past the first round. If it wasn’t for Product Gym, I would still be applying to jobs and not hearing anything back!
The only suggestion I have is to tweak the student portal. There is an overwhelming amount of information, so making the portal more user friendly would make it easier to navigate through.
The best part about this program is that Rich and Cody focus on developing your PM interviewing skills and landing offers. Knowing the foundations of being a Product Manager is one thing, but landing an actual offer is a totally different ball game!

Right off the bat, the PG staff provides feedback for your resume, LinkedIn and cover letter. Once you make the changes, you are told to start applying to positions IMMEDIATELY! The more you apply, the more interviews you land. As Rich always says, “It’s a number’s game!” Within 2 months of enrolling, I landed 40+ interviews and 3 offers.
To those that are considering this program, you HAVE to put in the time and work in order to succeed. Product Gym provides a crap ton of material and resources, so make sure to go through all of them. On top of that, make sure to reach out to instructors and staff if you have any questions. They do a phenomenal job of providing support!
Product Gym was by far the best investment I’ve made in my life!
Product Gym gave me both the strategy and tactics to land my PM role. I've taken many courses and books and hands down PG is by far different. PG is the only place that gives you the specific tactics you need, every single step of the way, to actually get interviews. Beyond that, the coaches give you CONFIDENCE and the whole community gives you SUPPORT. Even though I took my course online, I felt connected to the coaches and team. In just 3 months I went from zero ideas and confidence in what to do to multiple job offers at brand name companies in NY, Boston, SF, and Amsterdam! I just took a job offer that pays me 50% more than I make today, and my entire career is on a new path. Look, stop wasting your time thinking you can do it yourself. If you could have, you would have by now. I'm smart and have a great network, but why struggle when PG will just teach you all the skills to win the game. Just invest in yourself and take this program and you'll get 10x return (in my case more) on your money, and a lifelong skillset and network.
Rich, Cody, RK, and the rest Product Gym team are the REAL DEAL. The product management space is a VERY competitive one and Product Gym is ready to help you put in the work to fight for what you want.

The PG team is so incredibly committed to helping every student succeed in getting the PM job. Interviewing for any job is a full-time commitment and they have built a process and calendar that sets you up for success. Interviewing on top of a full time job isn't easy, but if you're fully committed to getting a PM role No excuses, no students left behind - these guys make sure to check in with everyone on their progress and dedicate hours of calls if you want/need the help. I attended remotely in SF and everything worked out great thanks to the team's commitment to recording important content or being accessible via email/messaging around the clock.
Prior to Product Gym, I had a finance/consulting background and had a good amount of experience working with PM's and engineers at a startup myself. I was always interested in the PM role and had even attended Product School (thank god on my company's dime) a year before. All that said, I will call out that I was personally a skeptic when I first got on the phone with Rich. It seemed too good to be true! After hearing Rich's expertise and admittedly impressive energy over a few calls, I decided to take the plunge and never looked back. I can personally attest that the expertise regarding the PM interview process and commitment to success that Product Gym offers to its students is incomparable to anything else that's out there, including Product School, which ironically doesn't help you get the job.
Rich, Cody, and RK - I can't thank you guys enough for all your timely help, no-bullshit attitude, and thoughtful advice through and through. You guys really have everyone's best interest at heart when coaching your students. Thank you so much for getting me an exciting new role and a considerable pay bump! Couldn't have done it without you guys!
I was very impressed when I spoke with Rich from Product Gym. His knowledge and insight of the current job search market is 100% on target. His knowledge of the industry seems to be beyond his years. Compared to others I have spoken to who claim to know how to assist job seekers in navigating their job search, Rich is light years ahead.

After speaking with Rich during our first conversation, he gave me a few tips. I applied them during my next interview and received positive comments from the interviewer/hiring manager, including “that is a great question”, and “very detailed reply”.
I would recommend working with Rich and his team.
Product Gym helped with my resume, cover letter, linkedin profile and improve on my interviews. They have an intensive program, and it’s effective. They will provide support in navigating the interview and hiring process.
Product Gym is a 6-week program helping you to land a PM job even though you are not in the tech industry.
I attended the winter cohort, followed the instructions from writing a resume all the way to offer negotiation. The staff there are extremely helpful and responsive. They are always there to help. They helped me a lot during the resume/cover letter writing, job application, interview preparation and offer negotiation process.
I can not achieve it without them.
I was looking to change my career from program manager to product manager, Product Gym's curriculum provided me a good guideline to follow to make the transition happen. The student community from Product Gym is an excellent source of inspiration, advices and ideas. Within 3 months, I was able to get at least one offer and I learned so much during the process from the curriculum and made a few friends along the way. Highly Recommend!!
I had read about Product Gym and was on the fence, so I decided to go to an event that they held on interviewing for PM jobs. The straightforward attitude, reframing of the job search process and concrete skills that I learned, along with speaking to other students in the cohort intrigued me. It has been an incredible experience. Having working professionals in the field teach the classes gives a window into real world, day to day product management. Often in classes, you get an academic, idealized overview of a discipline rather than the down and dirty reality. This is the nitty gritty.
One thing that Product Gym does differently than anyone else is the focus on the job search. I have been in my job for a decade and the process has changed so much since the last time I was looking. PG helped me completely rebrand myself (resume, LinkedIn, cover letter, pitch) and their methodology for applying has resulted in more interviews/phone screens than I thought possible. I have gained so much confidence as I have moved through the process and have learned how to better present myself. Having industry pros walk us through how to navigate interview questions on engineering, UX, data science, case studies, etc. has been incredibly helpful.
Be prepared to work HARD and be pushed out of your comfort zone. This process is not for the faint of heart. There is a lot to do and learn but it is worth it. I have shared this journey with my fellow students in the cohort and their support has been invaluable. Being able to have that camaraderie and knowledge sharing has really helped me to balance everything.
I feel very lucky to have found Product Gym. I needed a major kick in the butt to get organized with my job search. Rich & Cody have provided that. Sharing my application & interview totals with my peers has kept me accountable. Weekly coaching calls have also helped me focus on what I need to improve and have provided valuable advice. The fact that the curriculum is regularly updated and you can continue to attend classes is a huge plus. At PG, there is a saying: “Trust the process.” And that is spot on. If you stick to the process, you will succeed. I highly recommend Product Gym. It is worth every penny.
I had been unsuccessfully trying to land PM interview, not even job offers just first round interviews, for about a year. I took a Product School course to help with my problem but the course's efficacy is next to nothing. All the information in the PS curriculum could be easily found by Google searching and at a fraction of the cost. Product School offers absolutely no support after your course is over, other than having the elite privilege of accessing the chaotic, wild wild west Produc...

The Product Gym experience and results are night and day compared to Product School. Product Gym's curriculum content is something I'm constantly revisiting. It is practical information from domain experts. I'm referring to other content created by other PMs of course, but also from technical leads, UX experts, product marketers, data scientists, and engineers. All classroom sessions are recorded for you to review whenever you need. All the content is continuously iterated on, much like a product, and modifications are made on a month-to-month basis.
Within a week of starting Product Gym I landed my first, first round interview. Within 3 weeks, I landed my first PM offer. Rich and the Product Gym team are incredibly focused on providing practical strategies to get your foot in the door and beyond. They are grounded in the reality of the recruiting world. Rich and team not only have the domain knowledge of the PM recruiting ecosystem, but they also are relentless in their persistence and determination get you the job. They will push you when you feel overwhelmed or slack off. They actually give a shit.
