SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

How often do we girls hear that computer science is not for us? I don't know about you, but I've heard it quite often.
That's why I was even more excited to learn that the SheCodes coding bootcamp was created specially for girls. In addition to the excellent introductory course into coding, very clear and well-thought-out structure and interesting challenges, the philosophy of the creators of SheCodes is very close to my own values - making programming world a little more gender diver...How often do we girls hear that computer science is not for us? I love coding (again)

After discovering SheCodes, I admittedly took a few months to finally take the plunge to enrol but I am extremely happy that I did! The way Matt breaks down each concept makes it incredibly easy to understand and apply.
