SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

I had been thinking quite a lot about starting to learn how to code but didn't really get into it with the books and courses I had. Finding SheCodes was the best that could have happened to me. I so much enjoyed learning step by step the basics with the videos and challenges. Everything was easy to follow but still challenging. A great mix. Can't wait to start with the next course and dive further into the world of coding. The lesson structure is amazing and Matt makes everything really clear so even if you have no prior coding knowledge you can follow them really easily and start coding straight away! The taster that is offered which is 1 hour of basic coding from Matt is amazing as you get a sense of what you will be doing and you can make an informed decision about whether or not coding is for you. The staff on hand is also impressive, if you are ever stuck you can jump on slack and ask! Fun and educational
The SheCodes course were fun to do and I really enjoyed the time spend on this. The explanation were easy to follow and you were able to get help whenever you were in a pinch. SheCodes is one of my favourite course that I had attended so far. It is amazing. It is good for beginners like me who has zero background knowledge of codes; HTML/ JS/ CSS.
Matt did an excellent job in delivering the online class to us. I’m able to rewatch as many times as I can to get myself clear on the content of the particular curriculum.
