SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

Best introduction to coding!
Are you hesitating? Definitely go for it! I was a coding newbie and wanted to discover what coding is all about. Other introduction courses I have followed turned out to be very abstract and complicated. Basic: what are we talking about?
I’ve always wondered how coding works…I guess I’ve never had the chance to have a look into it. Great course- don't expect to land a job with it.
I'm a SheCodes Basic graduate, but am currently still a student because I bought SheCodes Pro for sale. I'm using SheCodes as a stepping stone in switching majors and transferring colleges, and it's serving it's purpose very well: To give me a taste of what my future job as a web developer is all about, and prepare me for the concepts I will learn in college. So far, I am greatly pleased with the layout of the course! While you can (and should) find a lot of the information Matt teaches ...I'm a SheCodes Basic graduate, but am currently still a student because I bought SheCodes Pro for sale. I'm using SheCodes as a stepping stone in switching majors and transferring colleges, and it's serving it's purpose very well: To give me a taste of what my future job as a web developer is all about, and prepare me for the concepts I will learn in college. So far, I am greatly pleased with the layout of the course! While you can (and should) find a lot of the information Matt teaches on coding wikis and websites, in my opinion, all that coding bootcamps should do is give you some structure and feedback along with your learning experience, which a lot of students find they need to adequately learn, myself included. Matt explains things well and even sprinkles a little humor in his videos. With that said, I think this is a great starter course, <strong> BUT</strong> I doubt that it can be the only tool under your belt if you want to break into the tech industry. If you're unsure about the course and know nothing about HTML, CSS or JavaScript, I recommend trying the three-week basics course, and if you like that then you can upgrade. The layout for all the courses after that is just like the basics course, so you'll know what to expect. Overall I can't complain. I love how you can kinda go at your own pace, but you also have deadlines to meet. I do wish there was a little more feedback on the homework- all I really get is whether or not my submission was valid. I want to learn how to make my code cleaner and I wish I could receive an annotated version of my solutions and homework, to see how professionals would code it. I took the SheCodes Basics course and it was a lot of fun! I have always loved the precise, abstract thinking required for programming, but had never used HTML, CSS or JavaScript. I wouldn't have thought it could be so addictive! I liked that all the lessons were concise, everything was very well explained and the challenges were not too hard. After work, I was always looking forward to proceeding with my SheCodes course! I'll definitely be back for an advanced course!
