SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

Coding demystified for beginners
I stumbled upon the SheCodes workshops by accident, but it feels like it was the perfect opportunity at just the right time. I tentatively registered for the free class but was hopeful. I had no previous experience coding, and frankly, no clue what coding entailed. But after the free class, I immediately signed up for the first SheCodes Workshop. Between the lessons, community chat, and encouragement from Matt to do more research on the material we were learning- I was hooked! Awesome workshop to get into Frontend Development
This workshop is really well stuctured and thanks to Matt's good explanation videos it was easy to follow. Another great aspect of this workshop is that you can do it in your own pace whenever you have time. Definitely would recommend this! First Time experience coding with SheCodes Workshop
Being a medical student, juggling three jobs, course work and medical placement; I didn't think it was even remotely possible to pick up a new skill like coding! I always thought it would be wayy too difficult and I wouldn't find the time but this course made it so straight forward to build a foundation. I am so happy now as I will be able to explore a whole new world of ideas and innovations and be able to know the basic working of them. Best Coding Introduction
