Nuclio School

I just finished the Full Stack Development Master at Nuclio and am very happy with the amount of learning and personal development I gained. My goal was to change my career from 14+ years in marketing to software development and despite my self-doubts, the program has pushed me to create a series of deliverables (apps) on my own (and with my classmates) in a short amount of time. I feel ready to compete for jobs and work in "real" teams, and judging from my first interactions after finishing, the stack we were taught is modern and very relevant in the market. Kudos to the whole Nuclio team, professors, and academic staff for pulling this through in a very satisfying way.

I came to Nuclio on the recommendation of a friend, who had told me very well about the structure and practical approach of the course, as well as support in the job search or in my case, a career change.
It has been a year full of challenges and transformations, and Nuclio is paramount in this journey.
The teachers have a lot of experience and knowledge of the market, it is great to learn how large companies think and work. Great support from teachers, mentors, and other students as well.  We had a chance to create our own project and experience a real project with a real client at the end of the course, which was a fantastic initiative from Nuclio. 
The master's degree ended in September, but I continued to learn other specializations from the Nuclio platform and I´m currently receiving support from Career & Talent to achieve my goal: to position myself as a UXUI Designer!

I am very satisfied with the contents and the qualification of the teachers, the bootcamp provided a wide view of the data science area, specially for beginners. I  also provided practical experience and the opportunity to build machine learning models in real world situations. The non supervised models caught my attention specially using collaborative filtering, I wish to deep my knowledge in this area. As a point of improvement I would suggest faster feedback after the delivery of evaluative activities, it would provide a better understanding for students about their weak and strong points.

Para mim a experiência de formação na Nuclio foi boa. O curso é bastante exigente e demanda muita dedicação, o que pode apertar muito para quem tem pouco tempo. Contudo considero que isso permite um aprendizado profundo e consolidado. Penso que em alguns momentos seria importante os professores terem um contato mais próximo com a turma. Acho que seria necessário desenvolver metodologias para isso, uma vez que eu e outros colegas nos sentimos perdidos em muitos momentos durante o curso. Contudo penso que, pelo volume de conteúdo e a proposta intensiva do bootcamp, de certa forma isso seria inevitável.
