Even if online platforms work, I believed that nothing could compare to being there in person, directly interacting with others. But I decided to give it a try anyway.What I discovered is that Great Learning solved ALL the issues of online courses.First of all, they have an amazing online platform where all the lessons are recorded, and all the material is stored. There are lots of quizzes to help you with the learning process (not graded), but also constant graded tests once per week. The user interface is very well designed and easy to use, and your schedule is always perfectly organized.But this is only the beginning. On the platform, you can find tons of forums where you can talk with other colleagues, share ideas, and ask for help if needed.And this is just the beginning of the beginning.What makes Great Learning the best organization of its kind are the assistants and the mentors. The mentors, who are highly experienced professionals, are always ready to answer any question — and their lessons are absolutely stunning.But in my opinion, what really makes this experience feel exactly like being there in person are the assistants. I’ve never received an answer in more than an hour; usually, it's within half an hour. Every problem was solved, and every question was answered. It feels like having a personal assistant who genuinely cares about you and your progress.Trust Great Learning; not only will you never regret it, but you will also discover that online learning can be as engaging, enjoyable, and effective as an in-person experience. I couldn't give them more than five stars, but honestly, five stars aren't enough!

The quality of the transmission of the contents, as well as the coexistence with the teaching team and the rest of my classmates, both in my course and those of WebDev and Data Analysis, would not have been of such a high level and would not have exceeded my expectations if it had not been in a face-to-face format. I highly recommend this formula. It feels like a summer camp and you feel it when you leave, but in this case you don't just take friends for life, you change your professional life forever. Kim Wood is an extremely knowledgeable career coach and she helped me a ton when it came to my interview process. The instructors were extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. A few things to consider if you're thinking about enrolling at Fullstack... Start studying for your Security+ ASAP and be prepared to study outside of class hours. My two goals when starting this course were to have Sec+ completed and a job lined up for when I graduated. Both of those goals have been accomplished, I actually got my job offer 3 days before graduation! I know most everyone who reads these reviews wants to know whether or not they will get a job and I'm confident to say that if I can do it, anyone can do it. The only downside I can think of with this bootcamp would be that my cohort was over 70 students which made it a bit tough to get 1 on 1 time with the instructors and to have your personal questions answered. However, there are mentors in the cohorts in which they provide outside class office hours that you can attend to ask any questions if you can spare any time outside the course itself. Lastly, start focusing on LinkedIn and building connections. This is how I found out, applied and got my job so I cannot stress enough how important LinkedIn is. Within two months of completing the program, I received offers from two different groups at JPMorgan Chase. Over the next five years, I was promoted to Vice President and Data Scientist Lead, where I developed personalized financial insights that were integrated into the Chase mobile app.
Recently, I relocated to Europe for personal reasons and took some time off, only to find myself facing the ever-evolving tech job market. It quickly became clear that the landscape had shifted significantly towards generative AI. After researching multiple options, I returned to NYCDSA and enrolled in their "AI Bootcamp for Real World Applications." This program provided the deeper technical training in state-of-the-art AI, particularly in Large Language Models (LLMs), that I needed to reenter the workforce. For my capstone project, I developed an advanced hotel recommender system using semantic search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and LLMs, hosted entirely on AWS. Additionally, I published blog posts on the project and my AI insights, which helped demonstrate my expertise to potential employers.

One cornerstone idea is with projects and their reviews - each learner has to do hands on, practical projects to showcase their abilities. These projects then get evaluated by fellow learners that have already progressed further and people working in the industry that provide mentorships. Doing it this way gives learners beneficial experience and showcases what they are good at or highlights some knowledge gaps that can be filled in.
Obviously with such a highly dynamic field as Data/AI, when some new innovation is coming out each day, the courses and materials need to be up to date, which TC tries to do with various content updates, community events and so on. Some outdated or unclear sections can be encountered, but again this is less of an issue when community shares their experience and provide better solutions that then get integrated into main material.
Another great thing about TC is the freedom and not being tied down with restrictions. The ability to go through the material at your own pace (provided you meet the generous deadlines) is great and the project requirements offer enough leeway to showcase your creativity and skills without feeling limiting.
Overall I'd recommend Turing College, provided you don't expect to be hand held each step of the way, because with all the freedoms TC provides, a lot of your success depends on your own work that you put in.

The instructors here and TAs are the kindest and really thrives for every individual to learn, they won't make you feel any less if you're having a hard time understanding, they are very hands one. One of my favorite things that they offer was unlimited one on ones! This really helped me when I was falling behind on some exercise and projects! They also offer Career Services where you can do Mock interviews, get help fixing your resume, and basically molding you to be job ready! Other than that, this is one of the most affordable bootcamps that I've seen while I was researching. They offer many payment plans that fits your budget. And I took the live classes, which was only 9 weeks, compared to other bootcamps that usually take 3 to 6 months. Overall experience 10/10! and I'll be graduating tomorrow!!
