SheCodes
SheCodes is a technical skill training provider for women offering online, hands-on coding workshops and a self-paced Professional Developer Bootcamp. The workshops and bootcamp are flexible and designed to fit around a student’s schedule, moving away from traditional, rigid learning methods. The bootcamp curriculum covers HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, OOP, AI, and more. The workshops cover how to effectively communicate with developers, how to become a front end developer, advanced Python skills, and how to break into tech. Students learn through bite-size lessons followed by practical challenges to reinforce their learning. Each week, professional developers review homework assignments. At the end of each workshop, students will build real-life projects like websites and web applications to add to their professional portfolio and impress future employers.
All of SheCodes workshops are beginner-friendly and self-paced. Women of any age are welcome to enroll. There are various packages that students can purchase depending on their coding needs and existing skill level.
At SheCodes, students have access to an online community of 200,000 women technologists. Students who complete the Professional Developer Bootcamp will receive a Verified Diploma upon graduation.

I have had so much fun learning to code. Although I have definitely found some of the modules hard, I have really enjoyed figuring out how to do it and solving problems. As someone with (what I thought was) good computer knowledge, SheCodes has opened my eyes to so much more. As a student ready to start University, I have experienced some of what my degree may offer me. It has also became a hobby I wish to partake in as much as possible and expand my computer science knowledge furthe...I have had so much fun learning to code. Great experience
I absolutely loved the SheCodes training and would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in coding. It is user friendly, you have tech support whenever you need and also a Slack community where you can ask questions and interact with others. Before I joined this course I felt a bit lost career wise but now I feel like I have more of a sense of direction. SheCodes is an excellent program to develop front end skills. The course is very well structured and every week you learn something new and apply it immediately. Great way to start coding
I saw an ad for SheCodes via Instagram and was intrigued by the whole concept and initiative to get more females into tech and coding! As a sociology student, I already had some experience with coding in other programs and languages, so I wasn't all new to the concept of coding, but learned a ton nonetheless! Matt's teaching is delivered in a very pedagogic manner, which makes a whole lot easier for both beginners and people on an intermediate level. I also fancied the times when he challenged us by introducing new topics!

A very intensive weekend, very fast paced and very productive. Matt has an incredible ability to simplify the coding world by introducing us smoothly to it. Starting from understanding the frontend/backend differences, listing the several existing coding languages, to developing HTML, CSS and Javascript. I arrived to the workshop, from a working week, with lots of doubts on wether I would be able to understand anything. Guess what?! The course was amazing!!
Learning coding with SheCodes was a very positive experience. It was really nice to have the opportunity to spend two days with other Women learning coding and working as a team. Even if in your current job you do not need coding knowledge, coding skills are very important for the future and know coding is an asset. For sure that I highly recommend SheCodes!!
