Tech Elevator offers both full-time and part-time coding bootcamps that prepare students for a career as a software developer, starting with an Aptitude Test. Throughout the bootcamp, students learn Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, API, and JavaScript. The full-time bootcamp runs for 14 weeks, Monday through Friday, 9-4:30 pm, and the part-time bootcamp runs for 30-weeks with a mix of independent study, live lectures and small-group programming. Both programs have a low student-to-instructor ratio to ensure the best supportive environment for participants. Tech Elevator's instruction is delivered in-person at campuses located in Cleveland and Columbus. Tech Elevator offers students beyond its core markets and throughout the U.S., class options through its National Live Remote program.

Tech Elevator’s career-readiness Pathway Program is responsible for high placement outcomes and includes personalized coaching sessions, interview practice, 12 months of placement support post-graduation, and alumni and mentor networking. Tech Elevator also offers its students and alumni direct connections to employers through employer showcases and interviewing events.

Amazingly dedicated to helping you succeed!

Although my journey to becoming a software developer was a twisty road, I knew as soon as I started coding that I had finally found the job for me! Debugging complex code is more fun than anything I’ve ever done as work before! I have been a Massage Therapist, a Truck Driver, and a Customer Service Rep. Though I have a B.A. in Communications, I never found the career I wanted until I came to Tech Elevator.

Every member of the staff at Tech El...

Life after Tech Elevator Boot Camp

Tech Elevator was absolutely a critical turning point for me. After a layoff and being uninterested in pursuing my previous career path I knew I needed to do something different, something more fulfilling and rewarding. I came across Tech Elevator and the rest is history.

I went from absolutely no previous experience in technology( I come from an arts background) to landing my first job in tech prior to graduation. The work was hard and at times I wanted to quit but the staff, in...

    Great career choice

The whole point of this program is simple, they teach you the skills needed to succeed as an application developer in the real world. Casey is an amazing instructor who never hesitates to take advantage of a teaching moment. You'll learn how to build a web app from front end to back end and everything in between. The course is very demanding but you will be rewarded with the skill set to succeed.

The main selling point for Tech Elevator will be the job placement. Katie and the t...

    Research

Having started an education company in college I was very skeptical of anything in higher ed (especially for-profits). I knew a lot of the ins and outs of for-profit Universities having had some of them as my venture capitalist, so when I started looking into bootcamps in Columbus I did a lot of research and questioned everything. I knew there has been a lot of bad actors out there in the for-profit model, so I did my research and encourage you to as well. With the bootcamp concep...

    Worth its weight in gold

My decision to change careers after 3 decades of work was not easy on my family or myself, but I have no regrets now.  If you are the type of person that is not afraid of hard work, this program is well worth it.  Even though I had an hour commute, I highly recommend attending in-person versus online, as having access to real world hiring partners, the exceptional staff, and other students is invaluable.  The Tech Elevator staff clearly cares about their students, and went way above and ...

    Incredible learning experience

This was an amazing bootcamp experience. The knowledge gained was incredible for 14 weeks.  The staff was experienced and always there to help including staying late if needed. The help in job searching was amazing and within a week of graduating I had a job offer.

    Should've done it sooner

Tech Elevator in Pittsburgh has had a truly profound impact on my career and life. This coding bootcamp challenged me like never before, but the results were beyond rewarding.

Trust is a critical component of any learning experience, and despite occasional flaws in the curriculum that didn't always make sense, I ultimately learned to trust the process at Tech Elevator. Even when the program pivoted, it often proved to be a valuable learning experience.

    Couldn't Recommend Enough!

I graduated Tech Elevator December of 2022 and it was nothing but a great experience. I not only gained extensive knowledge on how to code and use common software and IDE's but also met so many great people! The tools and resources you receive to your disposal seem unlimited and the team is very helpful. I was able to get a job with the assistance of the pathway team.

    Intense But Spectacular

Don't let a lack of prior coding knowledge dissuade you from this course.  I entered it knowing next to nothing about code and am leaving feeling prepared for the job I was offered.  The experience as a whole was one of the most intense undertakings I have ever done.  You will need to be able to set aside other concerns for three months and dedicate entirely to achieving success.  If you can, the knowledge you gain, people you will meet and work with, and connections you will make will f...
