Kim Wood is an extremely knowledgeable career coach and she helped me a ton when it came to my interview process. The instructors were extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. A few things to consider if you're thinking about enrolling at Fullstack... Start studying for your Security+ ASAP and be prepared to study outside of class hours. My two goals when starting this course were to have Sec+ completed and a job lined up for when I graduated. Both of those goals have been accomplished, I actually got my job offer 3 days before graduation! I know most everyone who reads these reviews wants to know whether or not they will get a job and I'm confident to say that if I can do it, anyone can do it. The only downside I can think of with this bootcamp would be that my cohort was over 70 students which made it a bit tough to get 1 on 1 time with the instructors and to have your personal questions answered. However, there are mentors in the cohorts in which they provide outside class office hours that you can attend to ask any questions if you can spare any time outside the course itself. Lastly, start focusing on LinkedIn and building connections. This is how I found out, applied and got my job so I cannot stress enough how important LinkedIn is. This program provided the deeper technical training in state-of-the-art AI, particularly in Large Language Models (LLMs), that I needed to reenter the workforce. For my capstone project, I developed an advanced hotel recommender system using semantic search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and LLMs, hosted entirely on AWS. Additionally, I published blog posts on the project and my AI insights, which helped demonstrate my expertise to potential employers.

I almost didn't sign up for a bootcamp and wanted to do it myself with online courses. I couldn't really justify a remote camp because why not just do it through udemy otherwise? So I wanted something I could attend in person both for accountability and for atmosphere and environment. I also wanted something affordable.
The fact that the course was only 13 weeks was another big plus. I wanted to be done, and be working on my own projects and looking for a job. So this course gave me what I was looking for.
And hey, another huge perk? I was able to live in the student housing provided. :) The course was great! I would recommend it.

The instructors here and TAs are the kindest and really thrives for every individual to learn, they won't make you feel any less if you're having a hard time understanding, they are very hands one. One of my favorite things that they offer was unlimited one on ones! This really helped me when I was falling behind on some exercise and projects! They also offer Career Services where you can do Mock interviews, get help fixing your resume, and basically molding you to be job ready! Other than that, this is one of the most affordable bootcamps that I've seen while I was researching. They offer many payment plans that fits your budget. And I took the live classes, which was only 9 weeks, compared to other bootcamps that usually take 3 to 6 months. While the learning progression is rapid, the curriculum is well scaffolded to bring learners along. There is a strong focus on the soft skills required to work as a part of a modern development team as reinforced by projects and assignments in teams of various sizes. Turing's ability to impart soft skills was something I didn't fully appreciate until after I had worked in the industry a few years and was sitting on the other side of the interview table. Turing graduates are well prepared to talk-the-talk of a developer technically, proficient in live coding exercises, and able to articulate pieces of valuable, non-coding wisdom they will bring to a team.

I am in an IT group on Facebook and a lot of the members stated that the curriculum they get through their degree programs doesn't prepare them because they don't extensively get to participate in hands on labs. The instructors are real world experienced individuals at Claim Academy, and are very knowledgeable. They are truly invested in the success of the students. I have recommended the program to so many of my friends.

From start to finish, I was consistently impressed by the quality of the instruction, the depth of the curriculum, and the genuine commitment of the entire team to our success. I honestly believe that if you're serious about a career in data science, you have to look no further.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Big Blue was the incredible instructor team. Instead of relying on just one or two instructors, they had a large number of instructors, each a specialist in their respective fields. This meant we received expert guidance and mentorship from individuals with real-world, hands-on experience in various facets of the data science industry. This wasn't just theoretical knowledge; these were professionals who were actively working in the field and brought their current insights and best practices directly into the classroom. I’ve never experienced something like that before in my career and I’ve attended courses from organizations all over the world in various fields. They covered everything from statistical modeling, machine learning, EDA and data visualization, Python, databases, etc. There is not enough space here to name them all.
The instructors weren't just knowledgeable; they were incredibly dedicated and accessible. It was amazing. They provided ample quality time and attention, answering every question thoroughly and patiently. What truly stood out was their availability, even beyond scheduled class times. They were consistently helpful and readily available to provide support, clarification, and guidance throughout the entire course. This level of personalized attention made a huge difference in my learning journey. I never felt lost or unsupported, even when tackling complex topics that were very challenging to me.
The curriculum itself was exceptionally comprehensive and well-structured. Big Blue Data Academy didn't just skim the surface; they dove deep into every essential aspect of data science. The sheer volume of material covered was significant, but it was organized in a remarkably logical and efficient way and the result was amazing. This made the learning process both viable and incredibly effective. They managed to strike a perfect balance between theoretical foundations and practical application. We weren't just learning concepts; we were actively applying them through projects and real-world case studies e.g. using numerous Kaggle databases with specific business tasks assigned to us from the academy. This hands-on approach was crucial in solidifying my understanding and building my confidence. I already feel and act like a Data Scientist.
The part-time format was perfect for my schedule, allowing me to balance my professional commitments with my studies. Even though it was part-time, the intensity and rigor of the program were not compromised in any way.
Honestly, the value I received from this bootcamp far exceeded the price I paid. It felt like I should have paid more for the level of training, support, and the career-ready skills I gained.
As a digital marketing business owner, my goal wasn't just to learn about data science; it was to gain the skills necessary to strategically evaluate and integrate data-driven approaches into my agency's daily operations. I also needed to drive a significant transformation in how we work. The Big Blue Data Academy bootcamp delivered on both fronts.
