Originally a marketer, I wanted to change my career and learn new skills in the wake of the Covid19.
Being a total computer-illiterate, I joined the Fullstack Intensive course after a positive impression by Kyle and Judy.
Even though the courses were not cheap, it is still much affordable than most tech bootcamps in the US or Europe.
As I am now landing an internship in an AI company, I can say the curriculum was well-done and useful. It provides good fundamentals in Front and Back-end as well as the skills in demand on the job market.
All the workers (from the founders to teachers and interns) are nice, friendly and helpful. I wish to thank them for that.
Big thumbs up for the Job Support also. The school provides a custom-made assistance for the students, sharing with them internships/job opportunities and counselling regarding their visa status.
On the other hand, it is called intensive for a reason: do not even think of joining if you are not committed.
Keep in mind learning new skills and finding a job is a very taxing process. Especially if you have zero scientific/technical background.
As far as I am concerned, it was a very stressful experience.
If that's the case, be kind to yourself. Work on your portfolio, stick around and look for internships.
To conclude, Wcoding will give you the tools, the guideline and the proper environment to start a career in the Tech Industry.
Nonetheless, you will need a lot of time and even more practice to land the job of your dreams at Google.
It is hard, but it is doable.
Now go coding.

- Great team: teachers and developers will always make time to listen to you and help you work on your projects.- Our main teacher Marie was professional and encouraging with a non non-sense attitude.
- You learn by doing.- Sets you on track for the job market.- Able to network with other developers.
- The school never gives up on you as long as you don't give up on yourself.
Suggestions:
-How about a slightly longer learning period ?
-Create programs based on each student's level (beginner, faux-beginner, experienced and so on...)
-Hire more teachers
-More counselling about personal development for each student.

The projects and exercises are very realistic, and once you complete 50% of the course, you are on your way to begin learning Machine, Deep Learning, and Data Science in-depth.
The course is well structured, with self-paced courses and tutors were hands on ground to provide all the support I needed. The tutors took their time to break down complex concepts like as descriptive and inferential statistics. You'll also get a completion certificate at the end which is a major plus when job hunting.

Every instructor I had was great and they seemed genuinely invested in me actually learning the material, not just passing an assignment. The career section at the end was invaluable and I still can't believe how straightforward it seemed to jump from a mediocre job with little future to the job I've always wanted and plenty of room to grow. I can't recommend this program enough, it genuinely opened more doors for me than I could have thought. Some of the instructors still reach out to see how I'm doing and to make sure I was able to reach all of my goals. After graduating from college, I really felt lost and anxious about not being able to find a job. I was looking for a coding bootcamp to review the knowledge I picked up in college and improve my skills. Kickstart Coding looked like it had a solid curriculum at a reasonable price so I decided to give it a try after attending some of their information sessions.
I recently landed my first front-end developer job two months after starting the course. I can confidently say that I was shocked at how quickly they prepared me for the transition.
The lessons were really easy to follow along with, and the approach is totally different from anything I experienced before. Instead of overloading me with all kinds of theoretical stuff, Michael focused on the fundamentals of programming, and provided a lot of activities to solidify my knowledge. He covered everything that was required to become a full-stack software engineer, starting with the basics like HTML, CSS, GIT, and Bash, to back-end technologies such as Heroku, Python, and Django, and finished with front-end projects using JavaScript and React. The 1-on-1 lessons were awesome, even if I didn’t always come with questions ahead of time about the course material. We also talked about the tech industry itself, their previous experience as software engineers, their and my current projects, and a lot more.
The custom-pacing structure was definitely a key factor of my success in landing my first developer job. At my request, Liam started my career activities within the first month of my start date alongside my coding lessons. This was crucial to landing an interview after sending out my first application!
Liam walked me through how to write resumes and cover letters, how to prepare for interviews, and basically everything I needed to know to feel prepared for the process. Michael would also dedicate time to preparing me for technical interviews. Even after I failed the last round at the first company, Michael and Liam were always encouraging me and pushing me to go beyond my limits and stay motivated. With that said, I landed my first developer job with less than a dozen applications, which I never had been able to do without the help of Michael and Liam.
I can’t stress this strongly enough, the Kickstart Coding bootcamp was worth every penny! It was such an amazing and inclusive environment. There were people totally new to programming alongside more experienced coders who were there to review their skills, and people who had asked for a more tailored curriculum to help them build their passion projects. It was a really special experience for me. I can’t thank them enough.

I joined Moringa school without any background in coding at all, I was a bit scared at first but thanks to the Moringa school curriculum design that is more customized to fit and accommodate both the University graduates who have a background in programming and people like me who totally knew nothing about the what a line of code looks like.
I first did Moringa prep that basically defined my foundation in coding then upon graduation I joined Moringa core where I specialised in Full stack web and software development. Through their job placement I got the position I now hold.

I recommend you try the introductory course to see if it is something you want to invest your money in. You can learn most of what's in the curriculum online for free. The benefits of enrolling here are having many different instructors who are currently working in the tech industry, receiving feedback from them in real time, and building new connections. Personally, I had a good experience and I enjoyed learning in a classroom environment.
