Even if online platforms work, I believed that nothing could compare to being there in person, directly interacting with others. But I decided to give it a try anyway.What I discovered is that Great Learning solved ALL the issues of online courses.First of all, they have an amazing online platform where all the lessons are recorded, and all the material is stored. There are lots of quizzes to help you with the learning process (not graded), but also constant graded tests once per week. The user interface is very well designed and easy to use, and your schedule is always perfectly organized.But this is only the beginning. On the platform, you can find tons of forums where you can talk with other colleagues, share ideas, and ask for help if needed.And this is just the beginning of the beginning.What makes Great Learning the best organization of its kind are the assistants and the mentors. The mentors, who are highly experienced professionals, are always ready to answer any question — and their lessons are absolutely stunning.But in my opinion, what really makes this experience feel exactly like being there in person are the assistants. I’ve never received an answer in more than an hour; usually, it's within half an hour. Every problem was solved, and every question was answered. It feels like having a personal assistant who genuinely cares about you and your progress.Trust Great Learning; not only will you never regret it, but you will also discover that online learning can be as engaging, enjoyable, and effective as an in-person experience. I couldn't give them more than five stars, but honestly, five stars aren't enough!

Kim Wood is an extremely knowledgeable career coach and she helped me a ton when it came to my interview process. The instructors were extremely friendly and knowledgeable as well. A few things to consider if you're thinking about enrolling at Fullstack... Start studying for your Security+ ASAP and be prepared to study outside of class hours. My two goals when starting this course were to have Sec+ completed and a job lined up for when I graduated. Both of those goals have been accomplished, I actually got my job offer 3 days before graduation! I know most everyone who reads these reviews wants to know whether or not they will get a job and I'm confident to say that if I can do it, anyone can do it. The only downside I can think of with this bootcamp would be that my cohort was over 70 students which made it a bit tough to get 1 on 1 time with the instructors and to have your personal questions answered. However, there are mentors in the cohorts in which they provide outside class office hours that you can attend to ask any questions if you can spare any time outside the course itself. Lastly, start focusing on LinkedIn and building connections. This is how I found out, applied and got my job so I cannot stress enough how important LinkedIn is. The instructors here and TAs are the kindest and really thrives for every individual to learn, they won't make you feel any less if you're having a hard time understanding, they are very hands one. One of my favorite things that they offer was unlimited one on ones! This really helped me when I was falling behind on some exercise and projects! They also offer Career Services where you can do Mock interviews, get help fixing your resume, and basically molding you to be job ready! Other than that, this is one of the most affordable bootcamps that I've seen while I was researching. They offer many payment plans that fits your budget. And I took the live classes, which was only 9 weeks, compared to other bootcamps that usually take 3 to 6 months. Overall experience 10/10! and I'll be graduating tomorrow!!

I honestly believe that if you're serious about a career in data science, you have to look no further.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Big Blue was the incredible instructor team. Instead of relying on just one or two instructors, they had a large number of instructors, each a specialist in their respective fields. This meant we received expert guidance and mentorship from individuals with real-world, hands-on experience in various facets of the data science industry. This wasn't just theoretical knowledge; these were professionals who were actively working in the field and brought their current insights and best practices directly into the classroom. I’ve never experienced something like that before in my career and I’ve attended courses from organizations all over the world in various fields. They covered everything from statistical modeling, machine learning, EDA and data visualization, Python, databases, etc. There is not enough space here to name them all.
The instructors weren't just knowledgeable; they were incredibly dedicated and accessible. It was amazing. They provided ample quality time and attention, answering every question thoroughly and patiently. What truly stood out was their availability, even beyond scheduled class times. They were consistently helpful and readily available to provide support, clarification, and guidance throughout the entire course. This level of personalized attention made a huge difference in my learning journey. I never felt lost or unsupported, even when tackling complex topics that were very challenging to me.
The curriculum itself was exceptionally comprehensive and well-structured. Big Blue Data Academy didn't just skim the surface; they dove deep into every essential aspect of data science. The sheer volume of material covered was significant, but it was organized in a remarkably logical and efficient way and the result was amazing. This made the learning process both viable and incredibly effective. They managed to strike a perfect balance between theoretical foundations and practical application. We weren't just learning concepts; we were actively applying them through projects and real-world case studies e.g. using numerous Kaggle databases with specific business tasks assigned to us from the academy. This hands-on approach was crucial in solidifying my understanding and building my confidence. I already feel and act like a Data Scientist.
The part-time format was perfect for my schedule, allowing me to balance my professional commitments with my studies. Even though it was part-time, the intensity and rigor of the program were not compromised in any way.
Honestly, the value I received from this bootcamp far exceeded the price I paid. It felt like I should have paid more for the level of training, support, and the career-ready skills I gained.
As a digital marketing business owner, my goal wasn't just to learn about data science; it was to gain the skills necessary to strategically evaluate and integrate data-driven approaches into my agency's daily operations. I also needed to drive a significant transformation in how we work. The Big Blue Data Academy bootcamp delivered on both fronts. After visiting them during one of their open-houses, I knew it was the right match for me. The instructors struck me as kind, approachable, passionate, and above all, knowledgeable. The application process was smooth and the preparation material helped establish a baseline with which to hit the ground running from day one. The curriculum is what you would expect for a high quality Data Science bootcamp in 2025 but I found it to be differentiated by the instructors, all of whom are clearly passionate about what they are teaching and all of whom were very knowledgeable and had plenty of first-hand insights on best-practices within industry. I was also pleasantly surprised by how smooth the interaction was with the colleagues who did join online due to geographical constraints and felt that they were right there with us the whole time. After an intense three months, the capstone project was a rewarding challenge to close the course with and am excited about my prospects after having acquired a new set of tools for my engineering toolbelt. Highly recommended!

Overall, the bootcamp is great - you learn a lot in a short amount of time. I would recommend a bootcamp if you are in a hurry to change careers. That being said, LHL is not responsible for the overarching job market / economic climate. When I graduated every tech giant was doing mass layoffs. Bear that in mind before making a decision. Nothing is guaranteed. After a total of 8 months (which includes 3months of bootcamp) i finally landed a junior dev role. And I was lucky. That being said, the support from career services was good. They help where they can. If I were to use an analogy: they are a passenger in the car you are driving. Is it worth the money? I'm not sure. I think that they do a lot of behind-the-scenes work that indirectly benefited me.
Overall, if you are passionate about tech and want to start your career, give it a go. Life is too short.
For curriculum I would prefer not spending a week on Ruby. I think the curriculum would be better served with an extra week with React or learning Typescript. Pivoting out of Javascript for a week didn't feel worth it to me. On top of that none of the TAs who picked up my request-tickets knew the language. Last November I subbed for a guy at a theater who was leaving to take a coding bootcamp. I was like, wait, a what camp? You mean I can learn how to do this coding thing for real?
Last week I launched my app, built from the ground up in Java and Spring, with the things I learned from Coding Nomads. Feels great!
Coding Nomads has been great. I liked it so much that I started their Javascript course recently. Here's what the founder said about my capstone project: "Your capstone is among the best we've ever seen here at CodingNomads and we've worked with hundreds of students. So, job well done!"
My intention is not to leave pro audio, but I do see software development as my next career act. Ideally, I'd like to keep building Tracebook and SubAligner, while doing freelance development work for manufacturers, AV companies, and the live event industry.

The instructors and teaching assistants were outstanding, and always available for feedback, and I especially appreciated their use of rhetorical questioning to break down difficult concepts. My cohort was highly engaged—most kept their cameras on during live sessions, which helped with focus and collaboration. As a neurodivergent, I never felt judged; the instructors were accommodating and sensitive to my needs, making it a truly inclusive space. This BootCamp didn’t just improve my technical skills—it helped me gain confidence and strategies to manage imposter syndrome. I’ve been working hard to become an engineer, and CodeOp catapulted my progress, accelerating my learning in ways I didn’t expect. I now feel even more confident in my abilities, and within six months of graduation, I secured a paid internship.
The curriculum provided a solid foundation, but I often wished for more time to dive into computer science fundamentals and analyze code line by line during demos. This wasn’t a flaw in the curriculum itself, but rather a challenge of the BootCamp format. That said, CodeOp did a great job collecting feedback throughout the program and adjusting accordingly. I also found the collaborative problem-solving sessions and flash lectures to be valuable additions, though a session on Big O notation would have been a great technical interview prep topic. While I gained a lot of confidence in my coding skills, I wish there had been more structured opportunities to review my code, as this would have helped with technical interviews.
Career services were encouraging and supportive, offering coaching sessions, resume reviews, and mock interviews. However, a guaranteed job or internship placement would take the program to the next level. Since CodeOp is based in Barcelona, many alumni job postings were Europe-based, which could be a challenge for U.S.-based students—but I saw this as a long-term advantage, as I’d love to work abroad again. I also appreciated that they connected me with U.S.-based alumni, who have continued to offer mentorship and support. Overall, CodeOp is a mission-driven BootCamp that truly cares about its students.
