The teachers and staff are knowledgeable, supportive, and truly care about students’ success. The curriculum is well-structured, covering everything from Ruby and databases to JavaScript and front-end development. That said, the pace was extremely fast—sometimes too fast for me. I often felt like I was falling behind, and there wasn’t always enough time to fully absorb concepts before moving on to the next topic. I wish this could be a one-year program instead of nine weeks, as I think that would allow for deeper learning and more confidence in applying what we’ve learned. If you feel like some sort of genius, this bootcamp will probably be easy for you. But if you have learning difficulties like I do, it’s going to be hard—really hard. Be prepared to put in extra effort, ask a lot of questions, and sometimes feel overwhelmed.A few pieces of advice:- Do not overestimate the prep work—do it as many times as you can before the bootcamp starts.
- Do not do the bootcamp online if you have the choice—being in person makes a huge difference.
- Do not try to work a job while doing this bootcamp—it’s intense, and you will often go back home to finish assignments or simply try to understand what you just learned.
If you’re considering Le Wagon, I’d definitely recommend it, but be ready for an intense learning journey. It’s great if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, but if you need more time to digest complex topics, you might find it overwhelming.Code Chrysalis

I would usually meander and get lost, whether it be in documentation, or when attempting to accomplish something.
Having peers to work along with, and being given a near-real example of what the environment was very helpful. It helped immensely with setting up expectations for myself during the search. Where before there was definitely a fear of the unknown, I have found myself much more comfortable and settled in.
While I am not the one directly talking to the client, I do end up in meetings just like those simulated in during the course. The post-graduation career support is also quite nice. It is easy to get depressive or discouraged during the job-search. You could easily slack off when you need to practice.
It is very encouraging to have guaranteed assistance in checking a resume, verifying a employer (I did get one very suspicious offer), and deciding on when/where to settle a contract.
Overall, I had a great experience, and I would happily recommend it to friends if they ever asked.TECH I.S.

Even though I've had challenges, there has always been a tutor available to answer any doubts or questions we may have. Special shoutout to my tutor Taufeeq for making this learning process attainable, and for being fun and not robotic within this 6 month timeframe.- 4Reviews5CoursesSince 2014, Preface Coding has been offering personalized programming training for adults, kids, and corporations.
