Arizona State University (ASU) Bootcamps offer 24-week, part-time courses in cybersecurity, coding, or data analytics, and an 18-week, part-time course in digital marketing. The cybersecurity curriculum offers hands-on training in networking, systems, web technologies, databases and defensive and offensive cybersecurity.

The digital marketing curriculum covers highly relevant skills, training students in marketing strategy fundamentals, optimizing campaigns and websites, digital advertising and automation strategy and more. Students will get hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Wordpress.

The full stack curriculum includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Express.js, Node.js, databases, MongoDB, MySQL, and Git.

The data curriculum includes programming in Excel, Python, R programming, JavaScript charting, HTML/CSS, API interactions, SQL, Tableau, fundamental statistics, machine learning, and more. Enjoy close collaboration with other professionals while receiving hands-on experience.

Applicants do not need programming experience to enroll, but once admitted, all learners will complete a pre-course tutorial. As the programs are part-time, ASU Bootcamps are designed for working professionals and learners who are actively pursuing a career change or advancement or looking to gain a new skill set.

Throughout the bootcamps, learners have access to career-planning services, portfolio review, demo days, and recruiting advice. Those who complete the program will receive a certificate from ASU Continuing and Professional Education and will have a portfolio of projects demonstrating a working knowledge of skills learned through the boot camp.

ASU Bootcamps are offered in collaboration with edX.

    Worth the money

This a very intense, online coding bootcamp (full-stack web-development bootcamp) which covers A LOT of material, but it is all VERY RELEVANT to what employers are looking for. The school keeps their curriculum very up to date with the latest coding and job trends. (of course they cover the basics like html, css, javascript, and then they move on to sooo many other topics such as Node, APIs, Typescript, Python, SQL, noSQL, Testing/Debugging your code, Postgres, React, Deployment, OOP or ...

    ASU Data Analytics

    • How you decided to pursue this career path and what led you to apply to the Boot Camp:
    • Data Analytics was introduced to me by a family member studying in another state; they mentioned data analytics being relevant to multiple fields which caught my attention. After speaking with an advisor to confirm the facts, I signed up for the Data Analytics program through ASU! Although I was new, the instructions provided helped boost my efforts in the program...

ASU FinTech Bootcamp review Post 1 year

It's been a year and I wanted to give a review of the program I took as these reviews were huge in helping me decide if I should take the course. I took the ASU FinTech boot camp from July to Sept 2022. The program ran until February so I didn't complete the program. I attacked this program aggressively from the get-go. I also incorporated working out almost every night after a class so I would be confident and ready to apply for jobs afterward. In addition, I was working my normal 8-4, ...

In depth introduction to full-stack development

I'll start by saying this course is challenging, and very fast paced, but immensely rewarding. If you are looking to get an actionable foundation that gives you a legitimate opportunity to break into the software development field, this is the best you will find.
The content builds quickly, so be sure to engage immediately because without a strong foundation in the early concepts, you will struggle to understand the intermediate ones and the advanced concepts will be extremely tough....

Arizona State University - FinTech Bootcamp

I have successfully completed my 6-month journey through Arizona State University FinTech Bootcamp! I enrolled in the program with no prior coding experience at all. My background consists of construction and about a decade of day trading experience. I was not sure what to make of the Bootcamp at first as I had never done online education before. I was not very tech savvy in general. The first day of class my instructor asked me a question, he said Why are you here? I thought...

All I can really say is WOW!

    Learning Support:
5/5 - There is literally always someone available to answer your questions, you just need to ask. The 24/7 learning team on slack was imperative when I was doing homework assignments, the tutoring with Lucas allowed me to go more in depth on difficult concepts, and then my favorite was definitely the office hours so I could spend time with other students, the professor, and TA to ask questions but also just connect. FinTech

I joined theh ASU FinTech Bootcamp in December of 2021. I had come across this bootcamp while taking classes at ASU, but wasn't able to make time for it. I was very intruiged by the curriculum and liked that it was offered either full-time or part-time. Right away I was being challenged in ways that I couldn't have imagined! The prework set the stage for what was to come, but what we actually learned was beyond what I expected. As my coding skills grew so did my confidence personally and...

    Cybersecurity Bootcamp at ASU

I took this bootcamp as a career changer with no experience in IT or coding. Spent the last 10 years working as a social worker and wanted to change careers. This bootcamp really helped me to transition to a new IT career. It helped me learn my fundamentals and exposed me to several career paths in cyber open to me with this new knowledge. It is hands-on so I was able to build up my experience in the field as opposed to just reading about it. It was a part time commitment and took about ...

    Cybersecurity

I joined the ASU Cybersecurity Bootcamp because I was looking for a career change. I have worked in the Administrative field for many years, and I wanted to do something different, something challenging,  and the ASU Cybersecurity Bootcamp gave that. This is a 24-week part-time program, and by far I can say that it was the best well spent 24 weeks of my life. This is a great introductory program, I learned that if you are serious to get into this field you have to be prepared to dedicate...

    Great Introduction

Took the Cybersecurity bootcamp and found it enjoyable; most of all, I learned a lot. Do note: this course is not cheap, but I found it worth the money if you put work into it. My instructor, Dan, was great at teaching and currently works in the field, which is a huge plus for me. Overall, a great program that I recommend. My suggestions on improvement are the cost and updating the course content (some was outdated).
