LearningFuze is a coding bootcamp that offers full-time and part-time web development and data science bootcamps in-person at their Irvine, California campus and online. Students are taught by experienced instructors who have all held professional engineering careers, and receive support throughout the course, including problem-solving skills, essential workplace and interviewing skills, and mindset training.
In the Web Development bootcamp, students learn full stack front and back end development. The curriculum covers HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, Typescript, PostgreSQL, React, Git/GitHub, Command Line, Node.JS, and Bootstrap. Students will participate in two hackathons and build a final project during the bootcamp.
In the data science bootcamp, students learn data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum covers Python, statistical analysis, unsupervised and supervised ML models, Pandas, SciKit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, natural language processing, Computer Vision, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Big Data Spark, classification and regression.
In the part-time UI/UX design bootcamp, students learn how to translate end-user needs into intuitive design and gain a strong mastery of the tools used by professionals. The curriculum covers user research, information architecture, wireframing and prototyping, paper prototyping, foundations of interaction design, typography, branding, HTML, CSS, and design tools like Figma. Students build a full portfolio of projects completed during the bootcamp.
The web development and data science bootcamps don't require a degree or professional experience, but require that students have a dedication to learning and making a full-time commitment. The full immersion web development and data science programs require 2-week prep classes to be completed before applying to the course, plus formalized 4-week post-curriculum career services programming.
Bootcamp students receive lifetime career services and 1:1 career coaching. After graduation, students are admitted into the alumni network and the included lifetime job-search assistance.

What a great Experience!
LearningFuze was the best thing that happened to me in 2020. I searched online for a part time course that would fit my schedule and one that I could attend in person because I wanted to network. Most of the reviews for LearningFuze at the time were for full time students and I was hesitant to put so much money on a program that maybe wasn’t complete for part time students wanting to learn Full Stack Web Development. I attended an info session at General Assembly early in the year and w...LearningFuze was the best thing that happened to me in 2020. Most of the reviews for LearningFuze at the time were for full time students and I was hesitant to put so much money on a program that maybe wasn’t complete for part time students wanting to learn Full Stack Web Development. I attended an info session at General Assembly early in the year and was not pleased with how corporate the whole experience felt. Right before Covid hit, I attended the info session at LearningFuze and was hooked. I’m glad I attended the info session for LearningFuze, right away I knew the school was ready to help me succeed. I asked plenty of questions in the info session and quickly signed up for the prep classes. Having had only minimal HTML and CSS experience I knew I wanted to learn more. The prep classes are a perfect way to see how the school runs and how the instructors teach. I was lucky enough to attend both prep classes in person, but then right after that, Covid hit and I was nervous I wasn’t going to be able to attend the part time classes. Luckily the transition to online was seamless, I had communication everyday with the instructors whether through slack or through a breakout meeting on Zoom. I honestly feel lucky to have found such a great group of instructors and faculty to help me succeed in my endeavor to become a web developer. The part time courses are just like the full time immersion but takes about one year to complete. What both courses teach are the same, the tech stack of Javascript, React, Node.js, Express and so on are vital to what is being asked for in the job market right now. When working on your work, you will feel as if you are working in a company already, turning in things on Github and having them reviewed by senior developers, in addition to reading code out loud. I have recently finished the part time course and now I am in the career services part of the journey. Although I don’t meet with my cohort online anymore, my instructors are always ready to chat with me, I can’t thank Brett, Scott, Tim H., and Cassandra enough for holding me accountable and reminding me everyday, through their support, why I invested so much money in this school.

I’d been interested in code for awhile and had been doing my best to take advantage of all the free online resources available, but eventually realized that if I wanted to pursue a career in web development I would need to take it a step further. Did a ton of research on coding bootcamps - both in the Southern California area as well as those that offered remote classes - but kept coming back to LearningFuze. The fact that they offered a free 2 week prep course with no strings attached ...I’d been interested in code for awhile and had been doing my best to take advantage of all the free online resources available, but eventually realized that if I wanted to pursue a career in web development I would need to take it a step further. Did a ton of research on coding bootcamps - both in the Southern California area as well as those that offered remote classes - but kept coming back to LearningFuze. The fact that they offered a free 2 week prep course with no strings attached really sealed the deal for me that LearningFuze would be the right place to take my learning to the next level.I’ve been in the full immersion course for the last several months and it has been such an amazing experience - but definitely good to know what you’re getting into. If you’re expecting to just show up to class everyday, do the minimal amount of work and somehow be a web development expert at the end, then I don’t think LearningFuze (or probably any coding bootcamp) is for you. But if you’re willing to put in the work and time, LearningFuze has a ton of resources that can really help propel you on the right path. Both of my instructors were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with what they taught and you could tell that they both loved to teach which made class something I looked forward to everyday. Course is broken up into a series of exercises, challenges and projects that help teach new concepts, challenge you to prove that you understand those concepts and then implement your new knowledge into real projects that you can show off. By the 4th week of class we were already designing our first project, and by the 8th week we’d already designed and built our first apps. So as long as you're willing to work hard and take advantage of all the resources they offer you, LearningFuze is a wonderful place to learn how to code. Great Program!

I always felt supported, and that support carried into the career services part of the program as well. My only regret was that I didn't fully take advantage of what was available to me after the program ended, but even though I never finished my portfolio, about 6 months after graduation, the director and career services manager reached out to me for a check-in and provided me with an opportunity to get back on track. (I was really struggling to stay focused during the first half of 2020.) And honestly, that made all the difference. I highly, highly recommend if you're looking for an environment where the instructors and staff actually care about their students, but you also need to put in the work! I then set a couple of parameters to pick the ideal bootcamp, which was: overall price, financing options, course length, full-stack web developer curriculum and career services. After a couple of weeks researching different coding bootcamps, I came across LearningFuze which fitted all my requirements. However, due to the new remote setting I was a bit nervous on the learning process and its effectiveness. After attending the 2 week online prep-course I felt very confident that LearningFuze was the right decision.
LearningFuze's curriculum has great exercises that will make the learning process much smoother, creating building blocks to solidify the information. The several challenges and projects are created to test your knowledge and gives you a practical experience of what the tech industry will expect of you. And the career services is extremely well designed maximize your chances of getting into the tech industry. I definitely recommend LearningFuze!
