    An eye opening experience

Really liked Web Fundamentals. It was a good refresh for me in some areas and in others I was still challenged because I found my weaknesses and know what I need to focus on to get better and keep moving forward.

    Horrible experience by Nucamp

I want to migrate to a Backend Engineer role. I enrolled in the corresponding bootcamp at Nucamp. It was a giant mistake which I regretted since module 1, week 1! There were several reasons why I felt instantly disappointed:
    - I was led to believe there was going to be a weekly workshop in which somebody would hold me accountable for my weekly work - no sign of that, I was all alone for 3 entire modules.
    - The course materials are very slim in content and with mistakes. I learne...

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We take all feedback seriously and are committed to improving our programs based on our students' experiences.
From your review, it appears that you might have enrolled in our Flex program. This program is designed specifically for an international audience at a more affordable price point ($90 per month), which does not include weekly workshops. However, we understand that this may not have been clear and regret any confusion this caused.
We would like to address your concerns point by point:
    1. Weekly Workshops: Our Flex program indeed does not include weekly workshops. This information is detailed in the program outline, but we apologize if this was not communicated clearly at the time of your enrollment.
    2. Course Materials: We strive to provide comprehensive and up-to-date materials. We are currently reviewing and updating our content based on feedback like yours to ensure it meets the highest standards.
    3. Homework Feedback: While we utilize AI to provide quick feedback on assignments, our instructors are also available to offer more personalized feedback.
    4. Instructor Availability: We regret that your last module was affected by an instructor's personal issues, although we're not clear how this could have been considering the nature of our Flex program.
    5. DevOps Module: We aim to provide a broad overview of AWS, GCP, and Azure within the time constraints. We acknowledge that our approach may need enhancement and are exploring ways to offer more in-depth resources and alternative solutions for students who have exhausted their free tiers.
    6. Customer Support: Your experience with our support team is not reflective of the service we aim to provide. We apologize for any lack of responsiveness and are taking steps to ensure better communication and support for our students.
We are sorry to hear that your overall experience was not satisfactory and did not provide the value you expected. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our programs and better serve our students in the future.
Please feel free to reach out directly to our support team at studentadmin@nucamp.co if you would like to discuss this further or if there is any way we can assist you.
    Best regards,
    Stephanie

    It was well worth it!

I wanted to learn a bit of coding and wanted to see if I enjoyed software coding. This was the right decision and I am glad that I started with Web development. I felt so accopmlished deploying my first website using firebase. The videos are super interactive and enjoyed the company of classmate and my professor Yvan. I want to keep learning more backend. Front end even though it was a good start. It is just the start.

    Nucamp = Awesome

Learned a lot more in 4 weeks than I could have imagined! Had Phil H as an instructor and he always knew how to get us to understand any topic we couldn’t get ourselves which was extremely helpful. Thank you Nucamp!

    I Feel Born Again!

This bootcamp has jumpstarted a very special process for me and my career path. I am 24 and working as a line cook right now, and had no idea what this course would teach me. I am paycheck-to-paycheck and I needed to find a career that wasn't too "far-out" for me to obtain. While this bootcamp requires your best attention span and work ethic, it is SO rewarding and worth it to push through. You will be amazed at the things you learn here. It will open up a new part of your brain you didn...

Affordable, Flexible, not great if you need your hand held

I chose NuCamp because it was by far the cheapest & most flexible program available. However, that does come with some downsides. I have only taken the Web Fundamentals course thus far, and cannot speak to the front-end or back-end sections. I found the first two weeks of curriculum to be very well put together and scaffold understanding in an effective manner. However, me and my classmates became more frustrated near the end of the course, as the materials were clearly becoming less...

I recently completed NuCamp's Web Development Fundamentals bootcamp, and I'm thrilled with the experience. The curriculum is well-structured, seamlessly guiding me through essential web development concepts. The instructors are not only experts but also incredibly supportive, providing one-on-one sessions and quick responses to queries. The sense of community among fellow learners added to the positive experience. Real-world projects enhanced my practical skills, and I now feel confident...
