    10/10

Enrolling in Nucamp was a great decision! I have been going through every course they offer and it has been great. The Backend, SQL, and DevOps with Python has been grueling at times, but that is what I signed up for. All of the instructors I have had so far have been extremely helpful. Even offered to meet during the week 1 on 1 to help if there was something that I didn't understand.  I am very excited to see where the rest of the course will take me!

Transformative Learning at Nucamp: A Thrilling Journey

My experience at Nucamp, where I've been learning front-end and full-stack programming, has been incredibly rewarding. I can confidently say that I've learned a lot during my time here. The learning process at Nucamp is not just helpful but also engaging.

In particular, I've had the opportunity to dive deeper into programming and expand my skills, especially in understanding and working with APIs. This has opened up new possibilities and improved my problem-solving abilities. Look...

    - The Price
So right off the bat I should say, me and my brother both started two different bootcamps at nearly the same time. I went to Nucamp, he went to Tech Elevator. He did 14 weeks of fullstack, I did 16 weeks of backend and python. In total, I spent ~2622$(for a short preliminary bootcamp + the backend one), he spent ~16,500$(for one, with a required interview to even participate). All this to say, for the amount of money spent vs the amount we actually learned, these two ...

    Hi, Jonathon,

Thanks for taking the time to provide such a thorough review! We're always glad to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly, so we can rejoice, repair, and..well, accept, as the case may be! 😆

Our curriculum development team welcomes feedback like yours as they continually comb through for incremental (and sometimes larger) improvements. Since you have lifetime access to your course curriciulum and its updates on your student account, you can take advantage of these enhancements as they are rolled out.

You mentioned that career services are sold separately, so I want to be sure you are aware that, in addition to the paid Job Hunting Bootcamp that we offer, you also have access to some valuable resources waiting for you as a grad of Back End (same for Front End and Full Stack grads). To unlock them, reply to the Survey that was emailed to you the day after you graduated; this includes 4 free 30-minute sessions with a career coach, access to our alumni group on LinkedIn with 1 month free LinkedIn Premium membership. If you need help with any of that, please contact us at studentadmin@nucamp.co!

Looking forward to seeing you chime in as an alum, keeping us up-to-date on your coding journey on our learning community forums!

    very imformative

I enrolled at NuCamp after searching for months for a great bootcamp at an affordable price. NuCamp did not disappoint. The learning material was amazing, and I learned so much in a short amount of time, but I did have quite a bit of coding experience beforehand. I learned devops practices and containerization technologies which was completely new for me and was by far my favorite part of the whole bootcamp. I am now enrolled and on track to become a certified docker admin and azure deve...

Hi Nathaniel, thanks so much for your review, we really appreciate it.

We are so glad to hear that you learned a lot and found your Nucamp experience to be affordable and "worth it"!

It's great to hear that you became a better programmer, and that you enjoyed Docker, too. The course is meant to upskill for the entry level; advanced containerization and specialization in a particular cloud platform are outside the scope of the bootcamp.

We fixed the links with some apprenticeship opportunities, and communicated that to all our graduates. The links inside the emails of 9/12, 9/14, 9/15 should all be working (some applications are of course now officially closed, but please check them periodically for openings).

Your review of our job support/career services warrants a review how we are communicating these services to our graduates. We send out an employment survey to our graduates the day after they graduate. The idea behind that is not just to receive feedback, but also unlock access for the graduate to connect with a career coach.

Looking at your account, please respond to our job survey, which will unlock the 1-on-1 career coaching included as part of job-hunting support. You can schedule 4 free sessions of 30 minutes each with a coach.

Yes, having a college degree certainly helps in the job market, but the number one thing that all graduates should be doing is networking -- a career coach can help you with your strategy. Also, have you utilized our one-month free LinkedIn Premium membership and joined our alumni group on LinkedIn?

We look forward to connecting you with a career coach.

    Greate experience!

I am very glad that out of all the opportunities available to me, I chose “Nucamp”. This is an affordable option (especially compared to Israel), a flexible schedule (you can choose a day for workshoop), and the ability to combine it with work (but don’t think it will be easy). Very responsive instructors who are always ready to answer any questions and help with assignments. I will definitely recommend (and I have already recommended) "Nucamp" to everyone who wants to gain knowledge in ...

    Full Stack Bootcamp Success

Changing careers can be a daunting decision, but for me, the transition from a career in Speech Language Pathology to Software Development has proven to be an exceptionally wise and fulfilling choice. This career shift was driven by a combination of factors, and I can confidently say that it has been one of the best decisions I've ever made.
Why the shift made sense: First of all I have a passion for problem solving , development of new skills, remote work flexibility, and aligned wit...

Great instructors. Pretty fast paced bootcamp.

Ultimately this bootcamp good price and reviews were what made my decision to dive in. I liked it, although I struggled a little with the speed of the program and sometimes with trying to keep up with all the tutorials and information, especially with Javascript and React, for me though. I liked how we were able to understand the courses by getting our hands on the 'nucampsite' app/assignments from the beginning of the bootcamp to the end, but at the same time I wish we had another app o...

I took the Boot camp to help with work responsibilities and I learned a lot from it. I would diffidently recommend it to others and I really enjoyed working with my instructor Kevin. I learned a lot and it is just the start to my coding Journey. I look forward to what comes next.

    Affordable, but lacks depth

I wanted a change of career. It was overall a good experience, but I'm not sure it has enough practice or goes deep enough into the subjects to prepare for a future job. Thankfully, it's really affordable, but if you do this boot camp then supplement the weekly assignments with your own videos.

    Excellent So Far!

Nucamp's affordability led me to try it out. Honestly, I am enjoying it very much! Having other students who are learning as well sure helps! Another great thing is the communication and the community through Discord where you have graduates and all sort of instructors there to help you. They have their own mini-version of AI which helps with debugging and whatnot.
