I was in the Nucamp WebDev Fundamentals (1 month) module. I haven't done any html, css or javascript prior to it, but I feel like I have a good foundation and am confident that I will am more capable of learning more advanced applications of the said technologies.
I liked the fact that the course was affordable and was offered online rather than in a classroom situation
The course was great to learn the fundamentals and instructors were amazing.
Nucamp has great instructors and great classes plus it's convenient and affordable!
I chose Nucamp for the price, the convenient schedule and the in person workshops.
I chose Nucamp because I wanted to learn how to be a developer at an affordable price. I think Nucamp definitely helped with that. It's got a solid game plan for learning and helped me get a step closer to becoming a developer!
I chose Nucamp because firstly it was affordable and was a flexible option to do homework and assignments while I work full-time. I enjoyed the weekly workshops with my instructor. She was very knowledgeable and patient with each student. I encourage anyone who has been wanting to learn how to code to enroll in Nucamp because of the flexibility it offers.
In an effort to teach myself to code, I tried few online courses on udemy (for the past 3 months). Though I had a decent start in each of them, I often found myself stuck and needed guidance. I knew a part-time bootcamp would bridge the gap. Being a beginner, I started with Web Fundamentals - our instructor was very knowledgeable. The in-person workshops kept me accountable and motivated me to keep moving forward. I am looking forward to joining the Front End course offered by Nucamp. I wo...

I would have liked the course to be perhaps a week or more longer and focus on 1 or 2 more projects which would better help reinforce the concepts learned.
Nucamp has been a very rewarding experience for me. I work full time and can't really justify doing a bootcamp that would require me to be in a classroom every night. With Nucamp I am able to learn online after work during the week and go to class for a few hours on the weekend. This gives me the chance to ask questions and get help with the stuff that just doesn't make sense. Overall I'm very happy with the classes and the staff at Nucamp.
Nncamp is a great and relatively inexpensive option for those who aiming to become software developer. It allowed me to keep my current employment while I was gaining coding skills. It is not perfect, but it is a great balance between money, skills and time. I researched many coding bootcamps that starts from 6k and up, and I don’t see reason to accumulate more dept without guarantee of future employment.
I took the HTML course in November and overall it was a great experience. The in-person interactions during weekly workshops definitely helped with the learning process. I'd recommend this course for anyone interested in an introductory course to Web development.
I took the 3 weeks HTML course back in July and the experience is definitely different from other bootcamps. The way Nucamp is able to offer these low prices is by not owning classrooms, and using online curriculums. They were refining their formula back in July and each weekly workshop got better with portable projectors and screens, and higher quality of interaction between content, instructions and support. The way Nucamp is able to offer these low prices is by not owning classrooms, and using online curriculums. They were refining their formula back in July and each weekly workshop got better with portable projectors and screens, and higher quality of interaction between content, instructions and support. Having an instructor with you and helping with the concepts and walking you thru the project is very helpful, as well as being with your other classmates. In terms of workshop locations we went to different libraries and a cafe that was huge and almost empty - we had a section just for our group. It can be surprising at first! Until you realize you can have a beer and pizza while coding. You should know that the cafe will expect the group to consume while you're there- again that's how nucamp can is reducing the cost.
I'm looking into the Full Stack program now- I have a job and don't really want to take the risk to quit and pay $10k+ for a full-time bootcamp. Nucamp is certainly the better alternative to any part-time bootcamp offering their curriculum online at the same price of in-person!!
