Nucamp
Nucamp is a coding bootcamp that offers part-time, online programs, including Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks); Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks); and Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks). Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp that covers the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. The online bootcamps include both self-paced and actively mentored study, and there are no more than 15 students per class with a dedicated instructor for each cohort.
Admission is open to all 18-years and older (some states require HS graduation or GED). To enroll in a bootcamp, complete Nucamp's online registration form.
Students of the longer bootcamps are prepared for entry-level, Junior web developer jobs. Nucamp offers career services and 1:1 career coaching to bootcamp students. Nucamp also offers exclusive access to a nationwide job board tailored to Nucamp graduates.

I only took the fundamental course but this is great for those that are not able to attend a traditional bootcamp. In most traditional bootcamps you're required to compromise your job to attend classses, and not having to do that with NuCamp made my decision even easier. Don't let the price scare you away. Yes, the price is only a tenth of what you pay at other camps but this is not a case of "you get what you pay for". You will get great value out of this camp. Classes ...

Although there are many introductory programming courses/tutorials online that can be taken for free, Nucamp provided an environment where students can sit down and truly focus on their programming and be able to discuss with the instructor and other students.

Good Experience
I like nucamp because I was provided with what I needed to learn to program but it is fast-paced.... the content is really good. the instructors know what they are doing and in general, it is a nice environment to study.

I looked for a bootcamp in the Seattle area for several months. I work full time, 50 hours a week. I needed to find one that would fit into my life, not the other way around. I almost signed on to another one that would have been more of a financial burden but thank goodness I didn't. He was encouraging and helped steer me to resources so I could learn where to go when I had a question. The lecture videos were also great. They were bite-sized which helped me take in little bits of information at a time. They built upon each other in a way that was easy to follow. I did feel like some of the assignments were given without the full information needed to complete them but I think that was purposefully so that we would learn where to go to find the rest of the answers. The lectures gave enough of a foundation to complete each assignment generally but they would throw in a challenge question and that would require a bit of research. As someone who had zero knowledge of coding going into this class, I feel way more confident in my coding ablities!
